About this Cycle Tour

Explore the elephant trails in the southern part of Chiang Mai on this one-day cycling trip. Your day begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel between 7:30-8:00 AM. Enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour transfer to the starting point, a remote village home to the Karen tribe.

Upon arrival, begin your cycling tour along a trail that passes several elephant sanctuaries, an area renowned for its elephant conservation efforts. You might be lucky enough to spot these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. The initial part of the ride follows a small river, featuring a single track path that offers a slightly challenging ride through natural and potentially uneven terrain.

As you continue cycling, the path transitions mainly to gravel roads, providing a different riding experience. The route will lead you through small Karen hill tribe villages, offering a glimpse into their peaceful way of life in harmony with nature.

Your cycling adventure concludes at a picturesque waterfall, where you’ll have the opportunity to relax and take a refreshing swim (weather permitting, as water levels and currents may be unsafe during the rainy season).
